Name/Nickname:
Aiden "Red" Blaise (People call him red most often due to his hair.)
Age:
About 200 Years old.
Gender:
Male
Height:
5'6"
Weight:
166 lbs
Alignment:
True Neutral
Affliction:
Ifrit (Wildcard/Jinn)
Nationality:
I suppose none, technically. Appears to be american I guess.
Occupation:
Works at a restaurant/coffeehouse.
Skills and Abilities:
Limited ability to grant wishes. Pyrokinesis.
Weaknesses:
Can be trapped inside bottles, lamps, and other sealable vessels. Can't kill, can't make people fall in love, can't mess with free will. He CAN raise the dead. He's not Robin Williams. He hates the movie 'Ghosts of Mars.'
Relationships:
Kei Wesley - His Nukekubi roommate.
Aiden Blaise - The one that got again.
Personality:
He's pretty shy in human form, somewhat uncommunicative. But he likes getting attention. He does a good job at blending into society, and likes to live life as it comes. He fears nothing as he is a Jinn and therefore cannot really die. He's somewhat bothered by ghosts, and he feels they're examples of true annoying human nature. He's a lot less shy in his Ifrit body, and commands respect.
Appearance:
History:
As much as we know about Aiden, it's really not enough to explain him in full. He is an Ifrit, or Efreet as some people prefer to spell it. Ifrit are mentioned in the Qur'an as a member of the Jinn. Jinn are essentially magic creatures or being which, in the Arabian Nights books, grant wishes. They are also sometimes implied to be elementals. While I'm sure many arguments could arise about their true nature, Aiden isn't clear enough about them to give any solid proof one way or another. The facts which are true, are yes he is attuned with the element of fire, and yes he has the capacity to grant wishes.
Aiden has existed in our world for a relatively short period of time by comparison. Topping out at around 200 years, he's a much more modern Jinn who got suckered into one megalomaniac's wishing spree after another. Three wishes per customer was always the deal. Aiden refused to grant anymore than three before he'd lock himself inside a bottle until the next person picked him up. Belligerently, he'd often purposely ruin every wish in hopes of teaching humans a lesson. In his time he's seen nothing but uncontrolled avarice, and the occasional flimsy good-goody who needed some sense about harsh realities hammered into them. He got fed up with that life and has tried to move on.
He tried to live in California for a while, until a director got ahold of him. The director of course used his wishes to get a movie made. Aiden of course purposely sabotaged the project. And thus "Ghosts of Mars" existed. Seeking refuge from this continued torment, he's moved to Bridgeport, hoping to simply not get discovered. For what better place to remain an anonymous freak, than a place populated by them.
Anything Else:
Aiden - Cats are annoying.
Jesse - Perhaps you need a nice dog then? *winks*
