(Continued from Graveyard)
Twist wasn't exactly sure if this was a good idea, but he wanted to make sure his suspicions were right, along with some physical evidence. Thankfully the restaurant he was taking them to was not to far away. The restaurant, known as "Der Lebensmittel-Platz", looked more like a pub but had the best German and seafood around, at least in his tastes. His plan was simple, wait until they leave and hope they shed, because only a few hairs is needed to prove that they were not human. Though, it was also good to have company that doesn't whine about how his services cost too much.

Aburn quickly took a seat and leaned back and looked around not used to being in a public place."hm........" he sighed and looked outside it was starting to drizzle not a uncommon occurrence in Bridgeport.

Well, I couldn’t have imagined my night ending up like this, Laurie thought. Dinner with a guy that’s probably the closest thing to a ‘sworn enemy’ I’ll probably have, and a graveyard fox-man creature that frankly gives me the willies.
This unlikely trio was about to get seafood in the most normal place imaginable.
Laurie noticed Aburn looking around, seemingly disinterested, yet at the same time managing to take it all in. He had a definite fish-out-of-water vibe to him, and the rest of the patrons noticed as well, glancing nervously in their table‘s direction.
“So,” she asked him in a feeble attempt to break the tension. “You ever been here before?”

Aburn looked at her and smiled slightly" no.....i dont normally leave the graveyard....". Leaning forward he leaned on the table and he looked at the people who looked at him not with a glare or anything just looking.

"Well, I usually come here with clients," Twist said calling up one of the waiters, "though it's a bit of a relief not to have to talk about prices for my services."
A fairly good looking female waiter walked up to the table with a smile, she apparently knew Twist saying "so, Rollmops as usual." Twist gave a nod as took a discreet good look of the waiter as she walked away.

“You don’t usually leave the graveyard? Well, no wonder you want interesting things! If you want, we can show you around one of these nights. Not tomorrow night, though. I‘m…busy. At home.”
That probably came out a little wrong, especially to someone as touchy as Aburn. Not to dig at the graveyard or anything, but man - that boy needed a change of scene! There was plenty of stuff to do around here. Interesting people, human and otherwise…
She watched Aburn stare right back at the people ogling him. Their own pretty waitress walked back to the kitchen door, but not before pausing in the doorway, and chatting with one of her co-workers. Both looked not-so-discreetly at their table and giggled before heading back into the kitchen. Wonder what that was about?
She turned back to the table and addressed Twist - hoping that it would get easier to talk casually with him the more she tried - “So, I’ve never been here before. What’s their best dish?”

Twist turned back to Laurie with a smile saying "well, everything is great here, but if your not really into the exotic stuff like Red Cabbage, then their Tuna Croquettes are really good." Then the waitress came back with a glass jar filled with brine with cocktail onions and what looked like raw fish rolled up around a small pickle and skewered with a toothpick. The waitress also placed a cutting board with a loaf of pumpernickel, knife, and a ramekin of butter next to it.
"Though, I do adore the Rollmops as an appetizer" Twist added pulling a rollmop out of the brine from it's toothpick and sliding it off into his mouth.

Aburn looked at her" if you want.....and no i don't normally leave the graveyard......". Sighing he leaned back and looked at the food not to sure but he leaned up grabbed some and took a bite and lazily chewed he had nothing interesting to speak about. Aburn looked at the giggling girls and scowled".....teenagers.....how annoying...".

"Oh, it's cool. I like any raw fish, really. So-" she continued, changing the subject slightly, " what brings you to Bridgeport, anyway? Have you always been doing the...legal-thing? And you-" to Aburn "how long have you been hanging around the graveyard? I mean, I go there pretty often, and I don't think I've seen you before. "
Then again, I usually go in the daytime, she thought.

"Well, not really, I used to be 'RagDoll' at a large circus" Twist said as he demonstrated by dislocating and bending his arm backwards. It wasn't long before someone at the other end of the restaurant began screaming and signaled Twist to relocate his joints.
"Though I did used to work in a big government organization in which I would be arrested if I told you any more" Twist whispered, "afterwords I became an attorney and went to the place that had cases I like, which happens to be Bridgeport."

Aburn smirked and looked at her" a very long time....." Aburn smiled and took another and eat it he felt less tense about this whole thing.

Twist looked at Aburn saying, "teenagers these days, cooped up in their 'lairs' playing video games." He then swallowed a Rollmop and added, "unless it's your job, then I can't help but be glad that there's one teenager with a good head on their shoulders."

Laurie shuddered involuntarily despite herself at Twist’s actions. “So, basically you heard about the weird stuff around here and went for those cases?”
She wondered to herself if he was really serious about the secret government job. What if that had some sort of connection to his interest in the Bridgeport cases? Definitely a guy to be wary of. Though maybe he might also have ideas of his own about the weird things around there.
“Haha, between all of us, we’ve definitely caught their attention…” she remarked, noticing people around the resteraunt trying to sneak a few casual glances their way. She didn’t blame them. A blue-haired little punk, a mysterious Goth kid with a definite “disturbance in the Force” about him, and…Twist. Oh dear lord, Twist.
“Ignore them,” she said in a low voice, though she noticed that Aburn had already relaxed a little.

Twist smiled at Aburn saying, "your a very strait forward kind of man, I like that, I don't see how we didn't get along before."
The waitress approached the three of them and asked, "are you ready to order."
"Yes, I would like to have the Rostbratwurst with a side of Red Cabbage and some of your best Lager" Twist said with enthusiasm as he took another Rollmop.
