Affliction:
Aldo was zapped by his playstation just before he turned 20, and it caused his soul and body to temporarily separate. Since that time he's learned to do it by will, although static shocks and fainting spells (usually brought on by Tom Dogget) also cause it to happen. Basically, he is human, and ghost.

Skills and Abilities:
Can set up/take apart/fix/diagnose all issues pertaining to computers and most electronics. Fairly fluent in "binary" (he needs a girl), strong gamer and very detail-oriented. Most of his computer and programming knowledge comes from outside of the classroom, and he's very proud of it. Practically a genius in terms of electronics and computers. Hates Apple, but could fix those too.
As a ghost, he has the ability to pass through things. As someone whose mind is always working, Aldo has the focus to keep himself from sinking through everything. With heavy concentration, can shift objects, but this is strenuous and he doesn't do it ever, really. He spies a lot as a result of this freedom.
Weaknesses:
His body has about thirty-six to forty-eight hours where it can stand to be without his soul, if he's moving about a lot or trying to force things to move. Nearing the end of this time period, Aldo's organs weaken and begin to shut down. He had to be hospitalized once after a weekend where his mom found his body - not breathing - on the couch. He doesn't know the exact limits, but when panicking or close to this end-time, his soul has a more difficult time rebinding itself to his body. He doesn't fully understand how it works, so he's been looking into particle research in his off-time. Aldo misses about a day or so of classes a week because he needs to let his body and soul rest together.
Relationships:
Both parents, closer to his mother than his father, who travels a lot for work. Was in love with Ikiko Dusk, still terrified of Tom Dogget. Has a sort of platonic acquaintance-friendship with Laurel. Knows Jeff and Malcolm - mostly from gaming tags and LAN parties with Jeff. Was that nerdier kid in their class, mostly unnoticed by most people. Collaborated once with Angeline Utkin at the college and tweets with her a lot but otherwise doesn't know her. He's a loner by nature.
Personality:
Easily excited, highly critical, and very bitter about a lot of things. However, this bitterness doesn't usually come out, as he's someone who is very "in the present." He's all sorts of fascinated by the possibilities of the supernatural and his affliction lets him wander and research without getting hurt. He is extremely competitive and witty, and very friendly (though usually awkward to girls) despite bearing something of a grudge from high school bullying. Also, see: very nerdy.
