When she was 7 she had her heart [and she was super healthy before wise- no reason for the heart switch] and kept in a tank of water for 3 years so her behavior could be watched. Then when she was let out of her tank for a experiment but she realized her hunger and all the things that were happening under the skin weren't visible.
Her teeth grew in and her body formed to her monster-like form and she tore the man apart and ate him; leaving nothing but knawed bones.
