Basically, if you have something you want to talk about, have a funny video, cool music, ANYTHING that you really want to put up but it's not big enough to deserve it's own thread, put it right here. Here's some classic Muppets hilarity www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Qj8PhxSnhg

........ *breathes* Yeah. It was spectacular, and I'm so excited to start working and taking real classes and one day doing crap like that. Ohgod, the animation blew my mind. And the plot. And the... The... The everything.

Well, I don't know. I'm still kind of bummed out that they don't use any actual animatronics. Though I WILL see it *when it comes out on DVD*

Well, I don't know. I'm still kind of bummed out that they don't use any actual animatronics. Though I WILL see it *when it comes out on DVD* The way they animated the flights and everything was delicious, and the CG was awesome. Animatronics would've been neat, but with the way everything works it just didn't make sense to use them. Everything was so fluid and quick and interlocking that CG worked easier and looked better.

Your right, I'm just so used to seeing scenes that are "obviously" CG that it's gotten old on me. Though I'm always wary of the big budgeted action movies for being lacking in the story department. I take it from your experience though that the story is no problem?

I enjoyed it, but the plot could use some work. I was sitting there in the theatre, knowing exactly how it would go at least a half hour before everything happened.

Lol, that's how I am (and it got so bad that I even wrote a story that had plot twists that were different and what would give me a hard time predicting, just because I got board with the stories today)

Yeah, I can pretty much always tell what's CG and what isn't now, but it didn't bother me. It was creative, it was beautiful, and I think it was pretty much well done as far as animation went. Animation hasn't quite reached the point where it can flow seamlessly in with real life anyway, but I'm sure we'll get there sometime.
And I was the same way, Floppy, but then I tend to figure out plots on just about everything. I approved of it greatly, I loved the ideas behind it and the structure of the plot so it didn't bother me because I still got caught up in the story. :3

Oh yeah, not saying I didn't get caught up. I still bawled my freakin' eyes out when that home tree came down.

Don't worry, I'm probably not going to see it any time soon. I'm just not one for super future science fiction movies (even though I'm such a nerd for sci fi, StarWars ruined me)
